We are seeking full-time Production Associate for an open Press Brake Setup & Operate position within our Sheet Metal Fabrication Department.
Associates are required to have the ability to perform all job duties within the department to support various functions.
Attention to detail is required and all associates must meet standards for acceptable production and quality.
Candidates selected for these positions must successfully complete screening requirements and a 50 working day probationary period.
The job opportunity is currently available on our weekend shift: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 a.
m.
– 7:00 p.
m.
Please note that this opportunity is part of a bargaining unit rooted in seniority principles consequently shifts are not guaranteed.
Applicants should be available to work any shift.
Required Skills Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Maintains regular attendance Experience working in a team-based environment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience using a Press Break machine Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment Required Experience Must be able to set-up and operate press brakes Must be able to read and interpret blueprints Must be able to utilize precision measuring equipment Must be computer literate/trainable; must be able recall, load and modify part programs as per the machine programming language May be required to run auxiliary equipment as assigned Must have basic math skills Must meet performance and quality standards Must be able to use simple tools such as tape measure and protractor Note: This job may not be limited to the operation of a Press Brake.
Other duties, including operation of other machinery in the Fabrication work-center, will be assigned as needed.
