Job Summary
The Utility A Start is a bargaining unit position which requires general knowledge and ability to perform basic construction related skills and utility skills such as, but not limited to, emergency first response, pipefitting, meter maintenance, turn-ons and shut offs, vehicle safety, safe material handling, afterhours work and exposure to weather.
Duties and Responsibilities
Turn on and Light ups
Meter work – building and replacing
Leak and CO response
Locating facilities
Call out when judged qualified
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess a valid PA driver’s license
High School diploma or equivalent
Good mechanical skills
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid PA driver's license
