Production Manager - Italian Ice Maker

_*We are currently hiring for a Production Team Member at Mt.
Everetts Frozen Creations located in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
*_ *Duties include but are not limited to:* * ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL * Interpret daily production schedules * Ensure the highest quality product by performing all required procedures, quality checks and documentation to meet specifications.
* Safely operate and monitor processing equipment * Make Italian ice and other frozen desserts * Ensure the Production area is clean, free of hazards, and running smoothly * Machine operation and product packaging * Complete end of day sanitation * Assist in other departments, as necessary *Behavioral Attributes:* * *Adaptable* - Adjust approach to match varied task requirements; Adjust behavior to others’ styles; Change priorities to meet changing demands; Adjust quickly to new responsibilities and tasks * *Communication* - presents ideas optimally, actively listens and works across functional boundaries.

*Position Qualifications:* * 18 years of age or older * Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills * Ability to read and write legibly in English * Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving skills * Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
* High School diploma or GED * 5 year related experience (*REQUIRED*).
*Physical Demands:* Work is performed in a climate controlled, refrigerated setting; you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while working safely and efficiently.
This position involves intermittent lifting of roughly 40lbs from ground level to waist high using proper lifting techniques.
Bending and other physical tasks are required.
Experience is a plus, but not necessary for this position.
