Responsibilities:
PURPOSE:
Analyzes production schedule to plan work of team members and assigns workload to make sure the finished product is produces in a consistent manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews production Order Forms specifications to insure the correct equipment, properly trained personnel, packaging supplies and raw materials are available to produce a product that meets the customer’s specifications.
Directs personnel in performing operations according to sound production methods and takes immediate corrective action to eliminate any causes of sub-standard product.
Insures that Berry Global, Inc.
and various safety policies are understood and adhered to by all team members.
Understands Berry Global, Inc.
quality policy.
Reviews and submits production reports and quality reports on a daily basis.
Insures team members perform required housekeeping chores, that all preventive maintenance procedures are performed and initiates maintenance action to repair defective equipment.
Trains team members in correct operating procedures, safety and quality policy procedures.
Performs and assists in other tasks, as directed by management.
Responsible for adhering to and executing the applicable Environmental Health & Safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for all employees according to Berry, local, state, and federal requirement-regulations.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent; specific experience in transportation, shipping, receiving, inventory, and/or warehousing.
Must have good speaking abilities
Must be able to read, write and understand English
Must be proficient in Excel and Word programs
Self- motivated and superior problem solving skills
Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment
EXPERIENCE:
Strong leadership, communication and motivational skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
The employee is continuously exposed to temperature variances; extreme heat during the Spring and Summer and cold temperatures during the Winter.
