Title: Laundry Production Associate - First Shift (Weekly Pay) - Dempsey Uniform, Jessup, PA About Us: Dempsey Uniform and Linen Supply is expanding its team and seeking dedicated Production Associates for our plant near Scranton, PA, located in Jessup.
We offer full-time positions with first-shift hours (6:00 am to 4:30 pm) and provide weekly pay.
Join our team and contribute to various roles within our production facility: What You'll Do: Soil Linen Sorter: Sort incoming soiled items, such as napkins, tablecloths, bed sheets, towels, etc.
, used by our customers.
Mat Roller: Lift, roll, and carry mats in our facility to prepare them for our customers.
Washroom: Prepare and transfer counted soil items through our industrial washing and drying process.
Requirements Must be at least 18 years old.
Highly reliable work performance record.
Must pass extensive pre-employment checks, including background check and drug screen.
Reliable transportation to report to work as scheduled.
Must meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing for 10 hours per day, bending, twisting, squatting, repetitive hand motions such as grasping, and lifting a minimum of 15lbs.
Perform all assigned duties in a safe fashion and in accordance with OSHA standards and directives.
Report any unsafe conditions or practices to management promptly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Benefits Weekly Pay: Earn $16.
