*Summary *The Customer Service -Parts Specialist requires customer service experience, computer skills and the ability to learn new programs to navigate the various manufacturers systems to look up parts.
Boat or mechanical knowledge would be a plus.
Previous marine or automotive experience is a plus but not required.
The ability to learn and take direction are a must! *Essential Duties and Responsibilities *include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
· Help internal and external customers find parts and accessories quickly and accurately.
· Offer to sell complimentary and add-on items to customers · Actively strive to increase Profit Per Customers · Generate special orders for customer requests of non-stocked items · Notify internal and external customers of backorders, and/or receipt of special orders · Enter customer information and sale data into dealer management system · Maintain a tidy workspace suitable for public view · Take responsibility for merchandising and product presentation of the retail area · May process and submit vendor orders, as required by the Service Manager · Stock shelves as required by inventory plan · Perform daily perpetual inventory tasks as directed by service manager · Be on-time for all scheduled shifts · Ask each and every customer for email address/phone number and enter into DMS · Assist Service Advisor in answering calls and customers in person *Supervisory Responsibilities * This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
