*Shift: *Sunday-Thursday, 10:30pm-7:00am
*Responsibilities:*
* Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport goods to and from designated locations.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
* Load and unload materials using forklifts and other equipment as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, manifests, and delivery confirmations.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
* Transport pallet goods and packages from a place of origin to assigned destination
* Communicate with lead and outside vendor on status of purchase orders and availability of deliveries and pick ups
* Ensure contents are properly secured to prevent breakage or damage
* Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods from a truck at selected destinations
* Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
* Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
* Track and report working hours
* Adhere to company rules and regulations
* Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions
* Comply with ICC and DOT regulations
*Qualifications:*
* Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
* 10+ years of experience as a Class A CDL driver, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
* Forklift experience and certification preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
* High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred
* Must have DOT medical card
* Experience driving a large company van or truck preferred
* Forklift experience
* Clean driving record
* Must pass a background check and drug test
* Comfortable maneuvering and parking a large vehicle
* Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
