Professional Class A Driver

*Job Description:* We are seeking an experienced Professional Class A Driver with at least 2 years of driving experience.
The ideal candidate should hold a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and have a strong track record of safe and efficient driving.
While Hazmat experience is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
*Responsibilities:* 1.
Safe and Responsible Driving: Operate commercial vehicles, primarily Class A trucks, in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
2.
Delivery and Transportation: Transport goods and materials to various locations, including warehouses, distribution centers, and customer sites.
3.
Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured and balanced.
4.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues, and reporting any problems to the maintenance team.
5.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or issues encountered during transport.
6.
Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries, considering factors like traffic, weather, and road conditions.
7.
Customer Service: Interact with customers and clients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
8.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the handling of hazardous materials (if applicable), to prevent accidents and incidents.
Requirements: 1.
Valid Class A CDL: Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license.
2.
Minimum 2 Years of Driving Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably with a clean driving record.
3.
Hazmat Experience (Preferred): While Hazmat experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.
However, candidates with Hazmat endorsement will be given preference.
4.
Physical Fitness: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy loads and sitting for extended periods.
5.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with colleagues and customers.
6.
Dependability: Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role.
