Yard Jockey

Duties: - Operate yard vehicles, such as a yard truck or forklift, to move trailers and equipment within the yard - Safely load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment - Perform routine inspections of yard vehicles and report any maintenance or repair needs - Follow established routes and schedules for efficient movement of trailers and equipment - Communicate with warehouse personnel to coordinate the movement of goods - Maintain a clean and organized yard area Skills: - Valid driver's license - Ability to work on a refrigerated dock.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and warehouse personnel - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Prepare equipment for laoding and dispatch Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
