Driver/Receiver

*We are currently seeking a Full-Time Driver for immediate hire!* *Job Summary:* The driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
*Duties/Responsibilities:* · Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or the company in a safe, timely manner.
· Review orders before and after pick up to ensure that orders are complete.
· Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
· Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules.
· Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
· Operate equipment and machines such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
· Perform and maintain basic vehicle maintenance.
· Assist receiving team with unloading material from inbound deliveries.
· Assist shipping team with loading material for outbound shipments.
· Assist materials foreman with stocking and sorting materials within and around the plant.
*Required Skills/Abilities:* · Valid driver’s license issued by the state where you intend to work.
· Clean driving record.
· Ability to obtain special driving licenses.
· Strong time management and customer service skills.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to work occasional overtime shifts on Saturdays and holidays.
*Physical Requirements:* · Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
· Must be able to work in hot and cold climates and in an environment with many noises and odors.
