Job Posting: Summer Camp Counselors Wanted!
Are you a college student pursuing an education degree or someone who simply loves working with children in a camp setting? As a counselor, you’ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while gaining valuable experience in education and child development.
Join our team at Project Hope, a 4-week summer Day Camp for children aged 5-14! Camp runs Monday-Friday, July 1st to July 26th, 2024 (with July 4th off).
We’re seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and self-starting individuals who thrive in working with children and creating a fun camp environment through imaginative projects.
As a counselor, you’ll implement activities and collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure an unforgettable experience for our campers.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Must be available for all 4 weeks of camp and a mandatory staff training on June 18th from 10am-5pm
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with children
Location: Camp Kelly in Tunkhannock, PA
Transportation to and from the property from Scranton
Meals provided for counselors
Transportation provided to the camp from designated meeting points
