* *QUALIFICATIONS:* High School Diploma/GED with two to three years experience or Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office required.
Fund raising, development and administrative supportexperience preferred.
Ability to coordinate event planning and volunteer duties required.
Familiarity with personal computer word-processing and databases preferred.
Good interpersonal skills, and written and oral communication skills required.
Must possess a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and access to an automobile to perform program related duties.
*GENERAL DUTIES: *Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Maintain competencies and assume such day-to-day duties in areas of fundraising and Executive support to assure that the fundraising and administrative needs are fulfilled.
The Executive Assistant will have the following broad duties: *I.
* *Development.
* a.
Provide coordination of special event fundraising, including Annual Campaign, Friedman Walk/Run, Spring Gala, Annual Meeting, and other events as assigned.
i.
Organize Committee meetings, mailing coordination, general Committee support, and preparation of meeting materials ii.
Develop proofs for print publicity, brochures, registration materials, and invitations.
iii.
Sponsorship and vendor coordination iv.
Coordinate thank you letters (donors, sponsors, and participants); perform donor database updates, solicitation letters, venue and day of event duties.
*II.
Community.
* a.
Positively contribute to the image of Family Service Association.
b.
In conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer, establish and foster working relationship with local organizations, businesses, and civic associations to develop donor contacts and promote the overall image of FSA.
c.
Serve as a representative of FSA within the broader community.
d.
Establish working relationships with community agencies and services.
*III.
Administration.
* a.
Maintain confidential and accurate records of contributions and acknowledge the contributions in a manner that respects the wishes/intentions of the donor b.
Prepare and make Development bank deposits c.
Demonstrate competency in database use for record maintenance through a centralized tracking system for all non-government grant proposals/suggestions.
d.
Attend and provide administrative support including minutes for relevant committees including but not limited to the Friends of FSA and National Family Week Conference.
e.
Ensure compliance of CEU process for assigned events.
*IV.
Administrative Support to the Chief Executive Officer.
* a.
Organize meetings.
b.
Answer the phone and coordinate messages.
c.
Assist in developing spreadsheets and other tools as necessary to support strategic projects.
d.
Send mail, email and other communications to improve stakeholder relationships.
e.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer to assist in the efficient operations of the Executive department.
*V.
Other.
* a.
Must possess a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and access to an automobile to perform program related duties.
b.
Hours to include evenings and weekends and the availability and willingness to travel locally as well as overnight required.
c.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
d.
Back up for front deskadministrative responsibilities as needed.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35,500.
00 - $37,000.
